When we think of jams and jellies, we generally think of toast or peanut butter and jam sandwiches.
However, there are other ways we can use jams and jellies.
Here are just a few:
Stir Into Black Tea. Unusual, but surprisingly good!
Stir into hot porridge or cereal.
Add as a spread between cake layers.
Drizzle on ice cream.
Combine with a little balsamic vinegar, walnut oil or any other light and voila, you have a simple homemade salad dressing.
Flavour your soda or sparkling water
Use as a glaze on a meat dish or a side dish.
Stir into hot homemade custard or rice pudding.
You can also stir jams or jellies in your yoghurt, or add as topping for pancakes and waffles.
